Steve was Vice President of Marketing at FirstBest Systems, (later acquired by Guidewire), the leading provider of front office and underwriting solutions for global commercial insurance carriers. Steve led FirstBest’s marketing function including digital marketing, inbound/social media marketing, marcomm, product marketing, PR, AR, and corporate communications.
Earlier, Steve served as director of industry and solutions marketing for EMC Documentum (now part of OpenText) content management offerings, where he re-established the industry marketing function, which was later emulated by other firms. Previously, Steve was Vice President of Product Marketing and Vice President of Partner Development at KANA Software (now Verint), a top CRM provider where he helped grow revenue 35% above the industry average.
